Your lovely boutique hotel is on Buda side right at the Danube, few minutes’ walk from the downtown and the Castle Hill. You can enjoy your welcome dinner with us in a traditional local restaurant, and a beautiful view of the Royal Palace or the Danube.
Cycling along the Danube, we bike through Margaret Island, one of the nicest parks of Europe, look at the ruins of a 3rd century town Aquincum, and cycle to Szentendre, a charming town of artists. A stroll among the lovely Baroque houses, cafés, souvenir shops, and visit a unique Marzipan Museum. Then you can get relaxed on the island of peacefulness in a lovely small family run hotel with a very friendly atmosphere, a small swimming pool, and fantastic gourmet food. (cycling appr 28km/17m)
A walk in the 13th century Citadel to enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Danube Bend, and we visit Hungary’s biggest cathedral and a great statue of our first King St Stephen in the former capital of Hungary, where he was crowned in 1000. Cycling through beautiful woods off the beaten tracks to Tata, we stay in a lovely boutique hotel, an antique building of the Esterházys, where you’ll enjoy a gourmet dinner cooked by their Michelin star chef, and the nice view of the surrounding lake with the old castle. (cycling appr 26km/16m)
We have a leisure bike ride in the charming town Tata through beautiful woods around picturesque lakes, visit the medieval Castle, ride to a lovely little vineyard, and taste the organic wines made by a local wine maker. After all these experiences we get back to our hotel and enjoy their delicious dinner. (cycling appr. 23km/14m)
A lovely bike trip along idyllic arms of the Danube and picturesque landscapes, stopping at one of the nicest spas and Renaissance castles of Hungary, and a walk around the wonderful Baroque houses & the Cathedral in Győr, the “Town of rivers”. Then you can enjoy the hand-crafted wines and dinner of a lover of gastronomy, in his old cellar and friendly inn, where we stay among his vineyards. (cycling appr 32km/20m)
Biking from an amazing Romanesque church, we cycle through the untouched World-Heritage Fertő-Hanság National Park. We visit its rich flora and fauna in a little museum, and then the splendid Esterházy Palace, Versailles of Hungary. We stay 2 nights in a perfect place for relaxation, a fantastic monastery, where you’ll enjoy the cultural heritage of 500 years, combined with the comfort of the 21st century, and a lovely dinner among 18th century frescoes. (appr 57km/35m cycling)
A nice walk in the lovely town Sopron, with original Roman city walls, & lots of sights. We cycle through nice woods to Lake Fertő, one of the most interesting wild water areas of Central Europe, and visit a fantastic quarry with giant halls. You can enjoy a gourmet dinner and organic wines in a unique restaurant of Hungary, full of antique furniture restored by the Gault&Millau awarded owner, a top winemaker of Hungary. (cycling appr 22km/14m)
We bike along Lake Fertő and stop in the town of storks, Rust. Biking through picturesque vineyards and villages to the northernmost part of the lake, we ride to Vienna, and stay in a small family-owned hotel in an idyllic wine town surrounded by vineyards. In the antique Austrian style building you will find comfort and a special atmosphere for a relaxed stay. We have our farewell dinner in a Heuriger in the famous Neustift am Walde wine area. (cycling appr 45km/28m)
You can enjoy the beautiful garden of the hotel, or have some free time in Vienna, and we hope you get home with nice memories for a lifetime.
