We will meet in the afternoon, and have a welcome dinner together in a charming family hotel with a wonderful garden and view, in a hidden little village at the North end of Lake Como, where we stay 3 nights.
We cycle from our hotel to a small village and river, drive back to our hotel, and take a nice walk on the peaceful peninsula where we stay, to enjoy the gorgeous views of Lake Como, and a beautiful park of a small monastery. (cycling appr 20-30 km / 12-19 m)
We visit the unique Museum of Cycling & Madonna del Ghisallo Chapel, a must see pilgrimage place for biking enthusiasts, with an amazing collection of historic bikes and cycling relics. You can enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Como from here, and a lovely downhill bike ride along the Ghisallo Loop (part of the Giro d’ Italia tour) and the lake to the charming town Bellagio. A nice stroll in the marvellous botanical garden of Villa Melzi, and we ferry to Varenna & get back to our hotel. (cycling appr 27 km / 17 m)
A nice trip along a scenic route among the Alps, through some Alpine passes with fantastic scenery of the Sella Ronda. We get to a hidden place of South Tyrol near Pustertal among the amazing peaks of the Dolomites, where we stay in a lovely small hotel with antique village furniture, and you can enjoy gourmet dinners in a family restaurant for 3 nights.
An exceptionally wonderful walking trip around Lago di Braies, the most picturesque lake of the Dolomites where you can enjoy the astonishing view of the surrounding mountains reflecting in the dark green water. Then we cycle down the hills, through lovely villages in Val Pusteria to another beautiful lake near Dobbiaco. After enjoying the magnificent view there, we bike back to our hotel. (cycling appr 31 km / 19 m)
We take an absolutely spectacular hiking tour around the Tre Cime, to admire the breathtaking views of the most iconic peaks of the Dolomites. Anywhere you stop, you can see another picturesque face of the mountains, and it’s hard to decide which is the nicest... After this unforgettable experience we get back to our hotel. (easy hiking appr 9 km / 6 m)
We ride through Cortina d’Ampezzo, a popular Alpine ski resort, and along one of the most scenic bike routes of Italy, the Lunga Via delle Dolomiti, to a small village. After this nice and easy bike ride, we get to the famous Prosecco wine region, where we stay 2 nights in a charming small hotel, which is a wonderfully restored ancient monastery among beautiful vineyards. (cycling appr 33-47 km / 20-29 m)
We cycle along small hamlets and picturesque vineyards in the Prosecco wine area, and you can enjoy a nice lunch and a great view from a lovely local restaurant. After riding back to our hotel you can relax in the marvellous garden or swimming pool, and enjoy the excellent sparkling wines made by the owner. (cycling appr 22-44 km / 14-28 m)
We can take you to Venice, where we will have a sad moment to say goodbye at a boat station, and you can take a Vaporetto (Water-bus) to get to your hotel.

Our group of 7 couples have just returned from our third trip with Tradnatura and we are planning a fourth trip. The effort and time that Peter and Marietta exert in the planning of each trip right down to the minutest detail is second to none. They are extremely accomodating, fun to be with and create an unforgettable holiday. We travel from Australia to enjoy their expertise and professionalism. These holidays with them have all been outstanding and we highly recommend them. Don’t think about it, just go!
