Your comfy boutique hotel is perfectly situated on Buda near the Danube, few minutes’ walk from the downtown and the Castle Hill. Enjoy here your welcome dinner with us, and a beautiful view of the Royal Palace or the Parliament.
Through the nicest avenue of Budapest, the Andrássy Street, we get to the magnificent Andrássy Castle at the River Tisza. Cycling along peaceful oxbow lakes, we end up at a luxurious castle with a 19th century atmosphere, and nice swimming pool. We will be the guests of a noble family, and taste their unique Tokaj wines and the „Aszú”, the noblest sweet wine of the world, before our gourmet dinner. (appr 33km/20m cycling)
We cycle along idyllic backwater forests and picturesque landscapes. A lovely fish paprikás at the river in a ”Csárda” (Inn), with delicious traditional Hungarian food, and nice atmosphere of the old days. After this nice rest we cycle to a beautiful Spa-Hotel right at Lake Tisza, with a lovely view, indoor thermal and outdoor swimming pools, and stay 3 nights here. (appr 42-66km/26-40m cycling)
An unspoiled paradise for bird watching, fishing, canoeing, and a wonderful holiday resort for swimming or windsurfing. Cycling around the lake, you can enjoy many beautiful colours and faces of the lake and nature, a refreshing swim, a traditional Hungarian fish soup in a gourmet restaurant, and a nice rest and a gorgeous sunset in our hotel. (appr 46-63km/28-38m cycling)
A fantastic horse-carriage ride in the Hortobágy to see the native Hungarian domestic animals, the Grey Cattle, Racka Sheep, Mangalica Pigs, and enjoy the endless horizon, and a lovely Hungarian „Gulyás” in an old Csárda Inn. A beautiful boat trip to enjoy lots of wonderful flowers and birds in the reeds and woods and huge open water surfaces of Lake Tisza, and then some rest at the swimming pools of our hotel.
We will visit the Royal suites of Queen Elisabeth and Francis Joseph, and get an insight into their life in one of the largest Baroque palaces of Hungary, surrounded by a wonderful park. A coffee and cake brake in their small café, and an opportunity to buy some souvenirs. Then we get to Budapest, where you can enjoy some rest in our hotel, seeing the sights, or some drinks.
After enjoying breakfast in your lovely hotel, we hope you will get home safely, with nice memories for a lifetime.
