Your lovely boutique hotel is on Buda side right at the Danube, few minutes’ walk from the downtown and the Castle Hill. You can enjoy your welcome dinner with us here, and a beautiful view of the Royal Palace or the Danube.
Biking along the Danube, we cycle through Margaret Island, one of the nicest parks of Europe, bike to the ruins of a Roman town Aquincum, and Szentendre, a charming town of artists. A stroll among the lovely Baroque houses, cafés, souvenir shops, and visit a unique Marzipan Museum, and you’ll enjoy a nice rest in the island of peacefulness, a family hotel with lovely atmosphere and gourmet food. We cycle through small villages on the Szentendre Island, and along the Danube bike path with wonderful sceneries. Taking a forest train, and cycling in beautiful woods of the Börzsöny, we bike along the Danube Bend, one of the most scenic areas of Hungary to Visegrád, where King Matthias enjoyed his Renaissance Royal Palace in the 15th century, and you can enjoy the panoramic view from the spa of our lovely hilltop hotel, not to mention the gorgeous sunsets! A walk in the 13th century Citadel to enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Danube Bend, and we visit Hungary’s biggest cathedral and a great statue of our first King St Stephen in the former capital of Hungary, where he was crowned in 1000. Cycling through beautiful and peaceful woods to Tata, we stay in a lovely boutique hotel, an antique building of the Esterházys. Here you’ll enjoy a gourmet dinner cooked by their Michelin star chef, and the nice view of the surrounding lake with the old castle. (cycling appr 26km/16m)
A leisure bike ride in the charming town Tata through beautiful woods around picturesque lakes, and we visit the medieval Castle, and cycle along a small stream to the Danube. Then in one of the nicest vineyards of Hungary you can enjoy a wonderful panorama of the Danube, the refreshing swimming pool, and the multiple gold medal winner wines of a top Hungarian winemaker with your delicious dinner in our lovely hotel. A beautiful bike tour along idyllic arms of the Danube, picturesque landscapes & one of the nicest Renaissance castles of Hungary, and we take a walk around the wonderful Baroque houses & the Cathedral in Győr, the “Town of rivers”. After all these you can taste the hand-crafted wines and dinner of a lover of gastronomy, in his old cellar and friendly inn, where we stay among his vineyards. (cycling appr 32km/20m)
The Benedictine Archabbey in Pannonhalma is one of the most outstanding works of the Hungarian architecture, founded in 996, and part of the World Heritage. We visit the most valuable parts: the Late Romanesque-Early Gothic basilica, the 15th century cloister, and the Neoclassical library. A nice bike ride down the hills in the beautiful countryside, and we get to Budapest, where you can enjoy some rest in our hotel, or watching the sights. (cycling appr. 19km/12m)
